Google is all set to unveil its latest flagship smartphones, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, on October 4, 2023 at the ‘Made by Google’ event. The Pixel 8 lineup will also be available in India, with pre-orders starting on Flipkart from October 5.
Design and Colors
The Pixel 8 series will launch with two models: the standard Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro. The Pixel 8 is rumored to be getting a bit smaller, while the Pixel 8 Pro will get a few new tricks of its own. Each of these models is also expected to have a few different storage configurations available.
In terms of colors, the Pixel 8 is rumored to launch with Jade, Licorice, Haze, and Peony. In contrast, the Pixel 8 Pro would keep the first two colors but would swap the latter two for Porcelain and Sky. Later leaks leave out Jade, so it’s unclear if the colorway has since been cut or if we’re just the first with reliable reports of it. A new report further claims that the Pixel 8 will be available in Hazel, Obsidian, Rose, and Mint colors. The Pixel 8 Pro is expected in Bay, Obsidian, Porcelain, and Mint colors.
